Old form of "invitation": From due date, "invitations with emblem" are not any longer accepted at embassy!!!

Procedere:

Inviting party in Saudi Arabia must apply for notification at Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ryiadh, which is evident to the consulate (in Austria) on Homepage of Ministry at entry of code X

Code X must be passed on from Inviting party in Saudi Arabia to invited person abroad (traveller) via Mail/Fax

Only by means of code and notification, visa can be applied for

Consulate fee (1.12.2009):

Multiple visa: € 200,- plus handling fee

Single visa: € 105,- plus handling fee

Certification: extra charge

Requested documents for visa application.

-          Visa application form, signed by traveller

-          Passport

-          Passport photograph

-          Employer’s letter

-          Copy of baptismal certificate

-          Copy of birth certificate

-          Excerpt from commercial register from partner in Saudi Arabia

-          Copy of extract of the central register of residence registrations (Meldezettel) for all non-austrians
