The number of flights from Lisbon to Recife, Brazil, will be increased by six additional connections to a total of 13 weekly frequencies. Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro will be increased by two flights per week to a total of nine and 12 flights per week, respectively.
Additionally, TAP will increase its connections between Lisbon and Belém, Brasília, Natal/Maceio, Porto Alegre, Salvador, and São Paulo by one flight per week.
The airline will offer a total of 96 flights per week between Portugal and Brazil.
Compared to summer 2023, four additional flights per week will be operated to Toronto, Canada, bringing the total to 14 flights per week. Furthermore, the number of flights between Lisbon and Montreal will be increased from five to six flights per week.
Washington will now be served twice daily, representing an increase of four connections per week compared to summer 2023. The offering between Lisbon and San Francisco will also be expanded from five to six flights per week. Overall, TAP will offer 77 flights per week between Portugal and the USA this summer.
This summer, TAP will also operate three times weekly between Lisbon and Caracas. A new addition is that one of these flights per week will make a stop in Funchal on either the outbound or return journey, providing an attractive option for passengers traveling to and from Madeira on this route.

Air France is expanding the North American service this summer, with Phoenix, Arizona, becoming the 17th destination in the United States and the only direct service from France to Arizona. As of May 23, 2024, Air France will operate three direct flights per week between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Phoenix with the following schedule on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday:

Starting July 2024, Austrian Airlines will operate a year-round nonstop connection from Vienna to Boston. Initially, the route will be offered up to six times a week. The travel time between Vienna and Boston is about 9 hours. The flight will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as every other Tuesday. Departure from Vienna will be at 10:40 AM, arriving in Boston at 1:50 PM local time. The return flight will depart Boston at 5:10 PM, arriving in Vienna at 7:25 AM local time.

Qatar Airways will increase its flight frequency between Vienna and Doha to up to three flights per day. The additional service between Vienna and Doha will commence on March 10, 2024, and will be offered until April 7, 2024 and will be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The existing two daily flights from Vienna will continue as usual.

Starting October 1st, the airline will introduce a second daily flight between Dubai and Brisbane, and from December 1st, a second daily connection between Dubai and Perth.
Flight Times for the New Routes
The second Emirates A380 flight to Brisbane will depart Dubai at 2:30 AM starting October 1st, arriving in Brisbane at 10:20 PM. The return flight from Brisbane will depart at 1:55 AM, arriving in Dubai at 10:05 AM.
Starting December 1st, Emirates flight EK424 will depart Dubai at 9:15 AM, reaching Perth the following day at 9:05 AM. The return flight from Perth will depart at 6:00 AM and arrive in Dubai at 1:10 PM. All times are local.
